The designers behind the brand, Michael Wauman and Nathan Murillo, met during their studies at the fashion academy, soon they found each other in a common style, but after their studies they both went their own way. For some time Michael and Nathan separately worked as stylists for all kinds of TV productions. As the years passed by, the urge to create an own collection brought Michael and Nathan back together. From the beginning their goal was very clear : The brand had to bring cool, chic and affordable pieces for the cool girls in town; A label that captures the spirit of youth gone wild. O’Rèn Official offers an array of street apparel, which consists of cool tees, sweats, hoodies, skirts, bombers, denim and baseballcaps, covered with statement quotes and a good dose of glitter! O’Rèn official pieces have already become favourites of several Belgian / international celebrities and influencers.
Due to their impact on social media en fresh approach, O’Rèn quickly grew out to become one of the biggest players in the Belgian sweater market, soon to be crowned ‘Princes of Belgian streetwear’ given to their succes and popularity with among other things, their famous ‘Belgique, Belchique’ sweaters.
A few highlights of their carreer so far :
– Designing the stage outfits of Eurovision 2016 candidate Laura Tesoro & team, Awarded for the ‘most stylish and fashionable’ Eurovision stage outfit in times.
– The successful EK 2016 ‘Allez les Belges’ flash collection, worn by the Belgian royal family.
– The cooperation with Land Rover Benelux, where they were appointed as brand ambassadors, and designed the unique ‘O’Rèn Kaiju’ Evoque.
– Their victory as Trends Style’s Best Dressed and Most Daring Businessman 2016.
